The interest in this specific community became stronger after different visits to this village in the Colombian Pacific called La Barra. The series explores the daily life of children growing up in a place where basic public services, such as the aqueduct and sewage system, are still unknown. Tides in this community are very meaningful. They are constantly changing the shape of the village and the people is constantly rebuilding their houses after the high tides. Even with those adversities and the fact that some of these children have to work to help their families, there is always space to grow up like normal kids...playing, sharing and smiling like big hearted ones.
